Their innovation is one of the reasons we love them so much. And now, the family-owned Italian brand has launched a new and innovative solution to provide sun protection to customers who wear their stylish glasses frames.
There are many different styles of optical stores throughout the UK: from high street chains and franchises to partnerships and independents. And they all work in slightly different ways.
Many of these businesses are connected or tied to specific buying and procedural pathways to ensure the corporate identity of these organisations remains constant across all stores. Their employees must follow head office protocol and guidance to purchase specific products within their buying groups. Doing so limits the range of products and services they can offer their customers.
As we are a completely independent business, we have the flexibility of offering products and services from the entire optical industry. However, as small independent opticians, unfortunately, we do not have the buying power these large companies have. So, we are unable to compete on a financial basis. What we can provide – and we think we do it well – is a highly skilled and professional customer care package.

Hello and Happy New year. We hope everyone had a wonderful time over the Christmas and New Year holidays. We enjoyed meeting up with family and friends, and we even managed to grab a few days away with the new four-legged apprentice! But we are now back at work, refreshed, recharged and raring to go – even though we may be carrying a few extra pounds!
As we enter our sixth year of trading, we have a lot of things in the pipeline this year. We are excited to be back, open and looking forward to bringing more new and exciting eyewear to Market Harborough.
With Christmas just around the corner, we’re sure most of you are now concentrating on your Christmas arrangements. There’s so much to do, from planning family and friend visits, ordering turkeys (if there’s any available), stocking up on chocolate (if the supplies hold out), shopping for Christmas presents for loved ones and putting up decorations.
