We have a lot of customers who quite often buy multiple pairs of reading glasses because either they lose them, or they’re never in the room when they need to read something. From our point of view, this is great as we can dispense multiple pairs of glasses. But we have found a better, fun, and more economical solution for our customers. Being a small independent optician, we are not able to stock a vast number of frames for children. When you consider age ranges from 18-month toddlers right through to 15-year-old teenagers, we’re talking a lot of glasses. The sizes and tastes required to compile a comprehensive collection of children’s eyewear are colossal, and we simply don’t have the room.

We’re delighted to say that we have finally found a worthy replacement. A brand of ready reader that’s not just useful but exceptionally cool. To say we are excited to stock them is an understatement.
During the first part of the year, we visit trade fairs to view the latest eyewear and equipment available on the market. But we also engage in workshops, lectures and discussion groups at these events. It is vital to keep up-to-date with new developments within the optical industry, new legislation or clinical procedures, how to treat certain eye conditions or new guidance for referring patients to the health system.
