It is estimated some 300 million people globally will tune in to watch the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th of May. With numerous events and gatherings around the country scheduled to mark the historic occasion, we thought it would be an opportunity to look at what eyewear the Royals favour.
At Respectacle Company, we pride ourselves on the level of customer service we offer to our customers. We do a pretty good job of looking after your eye health and eyewear needs. We spend a lot of time sourcing the best solutions to ensure selected frames fit correctly and look stylish. But it is not always about making a statement with your spectacles. We dispense safety spectacles and sports eyewear and even do respiratory mask inserts. Whatever your requirements, we go the extra mile to ensure we can offer options to fit peoples’ lifestyles and specific task requirements.
It’s always an exciting time when we take delivery of new releases from our partner brands. As a rule, most eyewear brands release new models or colours twice a year, once in the Spring and again in the Autumn. It makes sense as it mirrors when we usually change our wardrobes from Summer to Winter outfits.
Here at Respectacle Company, we have recently received some stunning new frames from Coral Eyewear. As you may know, Coral has been producing glasses since 2019, and we love the way they do it. George and Calvin recycle plastics from old fishing nets and rubbish salvaged from the sea. They produce lovely tactile, environmentally friendly eyewear from these recycled materials.
With it being February, it feels like the perfect opportunity to highlight one of our favourite brands here at Respectacle Company. Of course, we love all our collections – each brings a different perspective to eyewear. However, it’s a bit like having children. We love them all equally. But each brand has attributes which make them unique and individual.
FEB31st is an eyewear collection made from wood. So, why is it called FEB31st, given the date doesn’t exist? The manufacture of wooden spectacle frames was said to be impossible. The company’s founders were told it wouldn’t be possible. But the FEB31st team set about proving that incorrect. And today they produce exquisite handmade, bespoke eyewear in the colour combination of your choice. The name seemed to fit perfectly.
