For the last few years, when we’ve looked at the available offerings of eyewear, styles have been reduced to the simple shape labels – square, rectangle, round, aviator, and cat’s eye. But in the optical world, not every frame fits into one of these categories.
One shape which is making a comeback in spectacle designs is the hexagon. Now don’t get us wrong, the hexagon isn’t a new eyewear shape. If we look back at styles in the 1970s – which some of us remember – it was a prominent part of the designs of the time.

We are very excited to be welcoming Monica from Theo eyewear into our store on Manor Walk for a day dedicated to Theo eyewear. On Tuesday, the 17th of May, we will be offering styling consultations throughout the day when you will have the chance to view the whole Theo collection. This event is an opportunity to view the Theo collection within our informal, relaxed store whilst nibbling on some refreshments.
