Astrology Inspired Eyewear: The Best Glasses for Your Star Sign – Part Two
We hope you enjoyed reading part one of our blog about astrology-inspired eyewear, which covered the first six zodiac star signs. In part two, we look at the remaining six signs and pair our choices of eyewear which we think best represents each sign.
Let’s start with Libra, the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac.
Libra – 23rd September – 22nd October
Silhouette Titan 5507 5640
Silhouette Titan. An iconic yet modern take on the struggle to balance prescription eyewear with the seamless nothingness of spectacle frame designs. We chose this frame specifically as it ties in with the most notable character traits associated with Libra people.
Firstly, Libra is an Air sign, which means that this sign is more inclined to approach life from a logical standpoint, often weighing up the pros and cons of a decision. Represented by the Scales, Librans seek balance and harmony. The symmetry represented in their sign carries over beautifully to the design of this Silhouette frame.
Libras can be indecisive whilst they weigh up all their options. So, if this is you, maybe a rimless frame solves that for you? What better way to avoid the risks of bold frames and colour choices than to go with the timeless inconspicuousness of a rimless frame?

Scorpio – 23rd October – 21st November
Scorpio is considered the most misunderstood of all the zodiac signs. Represented by the Scorpion, it falls under the Water sign family. The star sign is symbolised by a creature commonly found in warm, dry climates like deserts. So naturally, you would think the star sign belonged in the earth family. Is it any wonder Scorpios are so misunderstood?
Scorpios are elusive, and mysterious. This star sign is also known to be eloquent, intellectual, and curious. The links with the earth element remain strong, with Scorpios considered to be grounded, hard-working and reliable – like other signs which fall under the earth element family grouping.
The Lamarca Mosaico 48 col 2 frame is an obvious choice for Scorpios. We chose this frame because of the planetary links for a sign ruled by both Pluto and Mars. Pluto, the Roman God of the underworld, is represented in the translucent grey, and Mars is represented in the mosaic-like blocks of red. This Lamarca frame meets the characteristics of the star sign. It is solid and reliable whilst also being lightweight. If we didn’t know better, we would think the frame was designed to float on our faces as we would float in water.

Sagittarius – 22nd November – 21st December

Sagittarius, known as the Archer, is ruled by Jupiter and is part of the Fire sign family. Sagittarius are versatile, truth-seekers, adventurous, and intellectual.
Sagittarians are said to get on best with fellow Fire signs, Aries, and Leo. They are artistic, free-spirited, and bold. Honesty is the most used phrase when researching Sagittarians. We thought the honesty of this translucent pink acetate, coupled with the artistic blue frontage, matched well with the characteristics and descriptions for this star sign.
The Caroline Abram frame has beautifully delicate rose gold sides, which softens the solid, thicker acetate. It makes for a versatile look. Suitable for social activities and formal events, whilst presenting an intellectual yet professional look for the office, or even those zoom/teams calls which are still going strong whilst so many of us work remotely more regularly.

Capricorn – 22nd December – 19th January
Lamarca Scultura 60 01
Punctual, precise, dedicated, and Ambitious: these words are synonymous with Capricorns. Symbolised by a sea-goat – it has the body of a goat and the tail of a fish – Capricorn is another star sign which seems crossed over for their elemental family, like Scorpios.
Capricorns are part of the Earth sign family, despite their aquatic ties shown on their representative. However, the expected Water sign ties are also present because Capricorns are skilled at navigating emotional situations.
We have selected the Lamarca Scultura 60 for several reasons. Firstly, as we mentioned earlier, Capricorns are known for being precise in nature. It is apt due to the precise measurements considered when producing the frame to achieve the beautiful scallop-shell-like outer finish. This finish also ties in with the sea and such links to the sea-goat symbol.
The Lamarca frame is perfect for an Earth sign, as it offers a solid structure, blending the stainless-steel sides with the rigidity of the beautifully tapered frame design.

Aquarius – 20th January – 18th February
Starck 3048 0001
Despite the aqua pare of the star sign’s name, Aquarius is the last Air sign in the celestial grouping. Aquarians are innovative, eloquent, and honest. Ruled by Saturn and Uranus, people born under this sign are often humanitarians. They care about making the world a better place.
We channelled our own inner Air sign when choosing this pairing. Philippe Starck, the designer of Starck eyewear, is, by his own admission, constantly seeking to help provide something which humanity itself is lacking. He designs a multitude of products which he hopes will improve the quality of life for all people. Starck strives to produce products for everyone at affordable prices.
The Starck eyewear collection offers a patented multi-directional flexible hinge. Frames are lightweight and available in a variety of colours. Starck eyewear targets unisex design, making the collection available to all. The collection features a variety of sizes and shapes in the best effort to meet Philippe Starck’s ambitions.

Pisces – 19th February – 20th March
Pisces is a Water sign. People born under this star sign are more intuitive, sensitive, and empathetic than any other sign. Pisces people are said to have absorbed all the lessons of the previous signs in the zodiac. They have seen and acknowledged all the hopes and fears and learned from those who came before them.
Bringing together multiple beliefs and cultures, it seems fitting that the symbol for the sign is two fish swimming in opposite directions. Coral Eyewear’s Hector is the perfect match for this sign in many ways.
With the obvious connection of a Water sign, Coral Eyewear frames are made from 100% regenerated nylon from fishing nets. So, you can see why Coral had to be the brand for the Pisces star sign.
Coral also learns from the current economic and environmental crises, using what has come before, a fishing net, to create something new and usable for an entirely different purpose. With all this learning, both Pisces and Coral show their own loving nature whilst respecting and protecting the environment at the same time.
Hector is a classic shape, manufactured in a unique and modern way, and we really couldn’t think of a better frame to embody this zodiac sign.
