It is estimated some 300 million people globally will tune in to watch the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th of May. With numerous events and gatherings around the country scheduled to mark the historic occasion, we thought it would be an opportunity to look at what eyewear the Royals favour.

At Respectacle Company we work very closely with Seiko, being one of their appointed lens specialist optical eyewear stores, based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. As well as eyewear, Seiko are also renowned globally for their quality timepieces, and with their revolutionary timing equipment has been the official timekeeper for many global sporting events over the years, and in particular the Olympic games since 1998.
