As another year draws to a close, here at Respectacle Company, we always like to reflect and look back over the last twelve months and see what we’ve achieved. We’ve had a pretty good year, all things considered, despite 2023 being a challenging year because of the cost of living crisis.
We know it’s sometimes difficult for people with petite features to find frames to fit them and not look overpowered by the frame. Many people opt for children’s frames instead. But the problem is the options are limiting. Frames for children are often only available in bright colours with hearts and stars on them, which is fine when you’re six or seven, but not so much when you’re forty-seven!
As many of you will know, we have spent the last few months transforming the space in our Manor Walk shop. The final piece of the mini makeover was the addition of a new display cabinet. We’re delighted to let you know that we have finally completed the installation – and have some fabulous new stock to display in it. So, there is no better time to tell you about the beautiful new models that have just landed at Respectacle Company.
After a two-year absence, trade shows are slowly tiptoeing back to life. And we couldn’t be more excited. SILMO Paris – the largest of the European trade shows – made a welcome comeback at the end of September. Businesses and brands from the optical industry headed to the exhibition centre, Paris Nord, on the outskirts of Paris. And we were one of many who made the journey to France to check out what was new in the eyewear industry.
