New frames from Caroline Abram and Lamarca now in stock!
As many of you will know, we have spent the last few months transforming the space in our Manor Walk shop. The final piece of the mini makeover was the addition of a new display cabinet. We’re delighted to let you know that we have finally completed the installation – and have some fabulous new stock to display in it. So, there is no better time to tell you about the beautiful new models that have just landed at Respectacle Company.
First up are some new Caroline Abram models fresh from Paris. If you know the Caroline Abram collection, you know that they epitomise femininity, and have beautiful flowing lines interlinked with tantalising colour combinations designed to seduce you. Charlotte is a flirtatious hexagonal-shaped acetate with an asymmetric accent colour on the right temple. This repeats on the bevel side and inner surface of the frame front, which also runs down the temple sides of the frame, before blending back to the base colour. It has some lovely detailing and, of course, Caroline’s signature end tips. We have it in stock in several different colourways.
Kate is more curvaceous with softer edges and has a bubbly character. The model features lovely 3D detailing across the top of the frame and comes in the usual majestic colourways that Caroline Abram is famed for.
Katleen is Kate’s big sister. The frame is big, bolder, and straighter in stature. But Katleen has similarities to Kate, with the bevelled edges and 3D detailing.
Juliette is a real showstopper. The stainless-steel frame combines bold square lines and features vibrant colours, coupled with a complimenting warm contrast colour, woven together on the front and sides of each frame.
The second top-up to drop are some new Lamarca frames. We’ve stocked Lamarca Eyewear since the spring of 2021, and the brand has gone down a storm, especially the Mosaico family. We’ve struggled to keep some of the models in stock. Lamarca is so popular that we have a waiting list of people to contact as soon as new stock arrives. One of our favourites in the Lamarca collection is Mosaico 48. So, we’ve replenished and added the new colourways. It’s a classic, timeless shape, which we’ve all seen over the decades in Havana, black and tortoiseshell. But the Lamarca models are classic colourways on acid, with different hues of blues, greens and reds abstractly thrown into the mix alongside the conventional colours. The result is a classic frame shape with a very modern twist, allowing the wearer to stand out in a crowd without being too eccentric.
However, if you want to push the boat out further, we are now stocking the latest models from Lamarca: Mosaico 124 and Mosaico 119. The former is a feminine shape added to an enticing palette of colours, which can be either muted in teals, soft blues, and amber colouring or – at the other end of the spectrum – clash together purples, mauves, and yellow tones. The latter model is a more masculine shape in green tones or a bold combination of translucent crystal and yellow or bolder cousins of orange and navy blue.
We’ve also topped up on a few Coral Eyewear models and new colours. If you don’t know Coral, their eyewear is all made from recycled plastics. Their original collection used plastics from old fishing nets reclaimed from the sea beds. Later models use recycled plastics from bottles and single-use plastic packaging.
