Manor Walk: a one-stop well-being destination in Market Harborough
Over the last few years, Manor Walk has transformed into a well-being destination within Market Harborough. Not only has Respectacle been serving the local community with our eye care services for the last eight years – and TJ Hanby for 32 years before that – but we now offer hearing services in Manor Walk following the arrival of The Hearing Centre right next door.
The Hearing Centre is a similar business to ours, being a completely independent, family-run business. They moved to Market Harborough in April, and, like we did when we opened in January 2016, they have refitted the premises and invested in some cutting-edge technology to bring state-of-the-art hearing care services to Market Harborough.

With extensive experience in private, NHS, and charity settings, Claire founded The Hearing Centre in 2008 after becoming a qualified audiologist with first-class honours. The first clinic was established in Birstall, later expanding to a second location in Ashby De La Zouch, with former colleagues from the industry joining the company.

Over time, as the clinics have grown and the availability of services through the NHS has declined, the demand for help has outgrown both premises. Claire and Nathan started looking for extra space and found a new home at Manor Walk in Market Harborough. Their business took over the unit that was previously occupied by Harborough Lights. We are thrilled to have them as our neighbours because their ethos is similar to ours.

Both businesses take great pride in offering the highest level of customer care we can provide. We have invested in the latest technology, including Optical Coherence Tomography, to ensure our customers can access the most detailed examination and clinical procedures possible. We continually research the latest and innovative products on the market so our customers can choose the best solution for their eye care needs.
The latest technology is but one aspect of our business. We scour the world for unique and high-quality eyewear and invest in our staff and working environment to offer everyone a professional but relaxed and enjoyable customer journey. We’ve found that this approach brings us many new customers through recommendations. We also have a large patient base of tremendously loyal customers who we now consider part of the Respectacle family. They return again and again for their eyewear and eye care.
