Cataracts are a common age-related vision problem. In the UK, around 30 per cent of people aged sixty-five and over have their vision affected due to cataracts. If you suffer from cataracts, they can make everyday activities, such as reading and driving, difficult. In England alone, more than 400,000 cataract surgeries are performed annually. Given the severity of the condition – cataracts are the leading cause of blindness in the world – we thought this common eye disease would be a popular topic to discuss in our latest blog.

So, Emily is back in Paris. Finally, after a whopping 20-month wait – the third season aired in December 2022! Having enjoyed the previous three seasons, I was excited to see the first half of season four drop on Netflix in August, with the concluding half of the series having just recently reached our screens.

Whilst the show is full of pretty people and focuses on Emily’s love interests (FYI, I can never decide whether I’m Team Alfie or Team Gabriel!), I find myself tuning in each season to see the bold fashion looks, some of which are frighteningly over the top. But then, that’s half the fun!

We had a great time at the Lubenham Scarecrow Festival on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of September. This popular event has been a regular fixture in the local community for over twenty years, and it draws visitors from far and wide.
