LGR Eyewear: As Seen On TV

L.G.R. Eyewear Harborough

L.G.R has been a part of the film and television industry for many years, with models worn by hordes of actors and actresses, on the big screen, on the small screen and off-camera in their personal lives.

We recently published a blog about the eyewear celebrities have been wearing. And we wanted to delve a little deeper into some of the Netflix shows that link with L.G.R eyewear. In this blog, we will discuss the models worn on screen and frames worn by actors and actresses linked with these prominent Netflix shows.

The Sandman on Netflix

The Sandman, based on the graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, focuses on the character of Morpheus, the personification of dreams. Morpheus, also known as Dream, is one of the Endless, a group of 7 siblings who embody powerful forces or aspects of their respective universe. Alongside Dream, the other Endless are Destiny, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair and Delirium.

The series sees Dream pursuing the escaped Nightmare known as The Corinthian, played by Boyd Holbrook, who has been praying on the collective human population for over 100 years. During this time, The Corinthian has inspired a cult following amongst American serial killers, who convene at the conveniently named “Cereal Convention”.

There are many intricacies to the plot. We don’t want to ruin it for anyone who has yet to watch the show. But needless to say, the show should keep you invested in the entire 11 episodes, with more on the way. Netflix has already confirmed a second season. No surprise since The Sandman is one of the biggest Netflix shows of 2022.

The latter model is popular. So much so, on L.G.R’s website, the frame is advertised as REUNION EXPLORER | NETFLIX THE SANDMAN.

The show’s third season premiered on Netflix on December 21, 2022, with Netflix already committed to the production of a 4th series.

The story, set in the mid-1950s and 1960s, follows the life of Beth Harmon (played primarily by Anya Taylor-Joy), a fictional orphan chess prodigy. The series explores Beth’s rise to become an elite player at the top of the chess world and shows how, as she reaps the financial benefits of her success, she begins to lose her struggle to manage her drug and alcohol dependencies.
