As another year draws to a close, here at Respectacle Company, we always like to reflect and look back over the last twelve months and see what we’ve achieved. We’ve had a pretty good year, all things considered, despite 2023 being a challenging year because of the cost of living crisis.

We’re sure it comes as no surprise, but we are huge advocates for having more than one pair of glasses. It’s always quite a surprise to us when people say they only have one pair of specs when most of us rely on them to function on a day-to-day basis and carry out our daily tasks. Should your primary pair of spectacles go missing, get damaged or even break, not being able to wear your glasses will quickly become a big issue. After all, some of us need our specs to drive a car. Just think how lost you would be without your glasses?!
The last week of May has seen us enjoy some lovely sunny spring days in the UK. The warmer weather is an indicator that summer is on its way. Spring is also a good time to do some cleaning, remove unnecessary clutter and take inventory of our stock.
As many of you know, we have recently undertaken a mini makeover in the shop. To minimise the impact of disruption on customers, we have carried out these improvements in stages. It has been challenging to source some of the units and display items we wanted. But things are now almost complete, and we’ll soon be able to display all our lovely frames as we envisioned.
