In our previous blog post, we talked about how to find the perfect pair of glasses to suit your face shape. You may not realise that different face shapes suit different spectacle styles and shapes. But that is not all we consider when advising our customers on the best and most suitable pair of glasses for them.
We all like to follow the latest trends, but unfortunately, not everything suits everyone. We have to adapt the current season’s styles to suit our own individual shapes and sizes. Colours also have to be honed to compliment our colouring and personalities. The advice applies, whether we’re adding to our wardrobe, choosing a new pair of shoes, or accessorising our new outfit. And yes, when choosing spectacles too.
With the introduction of face coverings last year, those of us who wear spectacles soon realised that face masks and glasses were far from a match made in heaven. Not surprisingly, since the start of the pandemic, we’ve been inundated with customers asking us how to stop their glasses from fogging up. If only we had a pound for every time we were asked that question!
2019 was an exciting year for us here at Respectacle Company. As well as expanding our eyewear collections, we invested in Optical Coherence Tomography technology (OCT). A type of advanced eye test, this produces a detailed 3D scan of your eye which is similar to an ultrasound scan.
